Memory Box Help

Creating a new Memory Box

Creating a Memory Box is easy. To begin, click on the "Create A Memory Box" tab on the homepage and follow the simple instructions.

Tips for Getting Started

Before you start, check that you have the following information.

  • The full name of the deceased (! - Remember to spell their name correctly. This will make it easier for others to search for this person)
  • Your Name
  • Your Email address
  • Your relationship to the deceased
  • You might want to choose your favourite photographs to upload, including a main photo, and maybe a video clip as well.

Tips on Writing a Memory

Try to reflect positively on their life and achievements; who they were and what they meant to you and to others.

You can always add to your memory at another time or edit what you have written, so don't be scared about having a go. If you don't feel too confident why not ask a friend or family member to help.

Adding Media

Links for adding video and images can be found on all memorial pages.

Images can be uploaded through our uploading application, comments about the images can then be added after the images are uploaded.

All video files need to be linked in from You-Tube, a full step by step guide can be found on the add video page.
